Setting Discounts on a Pre-curated Bundle

Configuring Discounts on Pre-Curated Bundles

Overview The Discount feature in Easy Bundle Builder allows merchants to apply specific pricing rules to pre-curated bundles. Merchants can choose between full pricing or three distinct promotional pricing structures to incentivize customer purchases.

Core Logic / Functionality

  1. Accessing Discount Settings
    • Navigate to the Easy Bundle Builder home page.
    • Locate the specific bundle to modify and click the Edit icon to enter its configuration interface.
    • Select the Build tab.
    • Under the Offer and Price section, click Discount to open the pricing configuration panel.
  2. Selecting a Pricing Rule Choose one of the four available pricing modes:
    • No discount: The system calculates the bundle price by summing the full individual prices of all included items without applying any reduction.
    • Fixed Bundle Price: The system overrides the total sum of the individual items and sets a single, flat price for the entire bundle regardless of the combined regular price.
    • Percentage Off: The system applies a specified percentage reduction to the combined regular price of all items in the bundle at checkout.
    • Amount Off: The system subtracts a fixed monetary amount (e.g., $50) from the combined regular price of the bundle.
  3. Publishing Changes
    • Click Save to commit the pricing configuration.
    • IF the changes are saved, THEN the new discount rule immediately applies live to the storefront bundle.

Constraints & Edge Cases

  • Mutually Exclusive Discount Types: A bundle can only utilize one pricing rule at a time (No discount, Fixed Bundle Price, Percentage Off, or Amount Off). Selecting a new discount type replaces any previously applied discount rule for that specific bundle.
