The Subscriptions for Quantity Breaks feature enables merchants to sell single-product quantity discount tiers on a recurring subscription basis. By connecting third-party subscription applications (such as Shopify Subscriptions) with the Easy Bundle app, merchants can offer automated delivery schedules and recurring discounts on quantity-tier bundle offers.

2. Core Logic & Functionality

2.1 Mode of Operation

Quantity Breaks bundles operate in two distinct modes depending on your setup:

• Standalone Bundle Mode (No Subscriptions): IF no subscription plan is configured or enabled, THEN the bundle functions independently as a standard one-time purchase with quantity-tier discounts.
• Combined Subscription & Bundle Mode: IF a discount and delivery frequency are configured in a third-party subscription app AND subscriptions are enabled in Easy Bundle, THEN customers can purchase quantity tiers as recurring subscriptions.

2.2 Enabling Subscriptions in Easy Bundle

1. Log in to your third-party subscription application (e.g., Shopify Subscriptions) and create a subscription plan defining the discount rate and delivery frequency.
2. Assign the target product to this subscription plan within the subscription app.
3. Open the Easy Bundle builder dashboard.
4. Select the Quantity Breaks bundle you want to update and click Edit.
5. Under the Build tab, select Subscriptions.
6. Toggle Enable subscriptions.
7. • System Logic: Enabling this setting triggers the system to fetch and sync all active subscription selling plans associated with the bundle's product from your connected subscription app.

2.3 Widget Layout & Placement Settings

• Layouts: Choose from Option 1, Option 2, or Option 3 under the layout selection settings to adjust the visual presentation of the subscription widget.
• Widget Position: Set where the widget renders relative to the offer interface:

Select how subscription discounts are presented to the buyer:

• Show with subscription: Displays the standard price on the quantity tiers and explicitly shows the calculated subscription discount inside the subscription option box.
• Update on the quantity tiers: Dynamically recalculates and updates the price tags displayed on the quantity tiers when the customer selects the subscription option.

2.5 Visual Customization & Highlight Features

• Custom Text Labels: Modify the interface copy for the following fields:

• Subscription Highlights: Add bulleted selling points (e.g., "and much more") to communicate subscription benefits:

2.6 Advanced Configuration Logic

• Default Purchase Selection:
• • IF "Selected by default" is ENABLED, THEN the subscription option is pre-selected when the product page renders.
  • IF "Selected by default" is DISABLED, THEN the one-time purchase option is pre-selected when the page renders.
• Shared Selling Plan Filter:
• • IF "Show only shared selling plan" is ENABLED, THEN the widget renders ONLY the subscription plans and frequencies that are common to every variant of the product.
  • IF "Show only shared selling plan" is DISABLED, THEN all active selling plans associated with any variant are fetched and made selectable.

3. Constraints & Edge Cases

• External Dependency: Easy Bundle does not generate selling plans or frequencies natively. IF a discount rate and frequency are not pre-configured and active in your third-party subscription application, THEN no subscription options will render on the Quantity Breaks widget.
• Common Variant Plan Requirement: IF "Show only shared selling plan" is enabled AND certain variants of the product lack a common subscription plan, THEN those unmatched subscription plans will be hidden from the storefront selector.
