[New] Adding Pre-selected Products to Mix and Match bundle Builder

The Pre-selected products feature allows merchants to automatically include specific items in a bundle by default when a customer loads the bundle builder. Additionally, the Quantity limit feature enforces a strict cap on the maximum number of units a customer can select for any individual product within that bundle.

Navigating to Bundle Configuration

To configure pre-selected items, the merchant must follow this specific navigation path:

  • IF a merchant wants to modify a bundle, THEN they must locate the specific bundle and click edit.
  • Inside the bundle editor, the merchant must click on the build section.
  • Within the build section, the merchant must click on setup.

Enabling and Adding Pre-Selected Products

Backend behavior and setup actions are controlled under the bundle preferences menu:

  • Activation: The merchant must toggle or enable the pre-selected products setting.
  • Section Title: The merchant must input a text string in the title field (e.g., "Included in your bundle"). IF a title is entered, THEN this text displays as the header for the pre-selected section on the storefront.
  • Product Selection: The merchant must click the browse product button to search for and select the items that will populate this section by default. Multiple products can be selected.

Adjusting Pre-Selected Product Quantities

To increase the default quantity of an automatically included product:

  • The merchant must click on the "[X] selected" label located directly next to the browse product button.
  • IF the label is clicked, THEN the quantity adjustment interface opens, allowing the merchant to manually increase the default starting quantity for each selected product.

Enforcing Product Quantity Limits

To control and restrict customer purchasing behavior within the bundle:

  • The merchant must enable the quantity limit setting.
  • The merchant must input a specific numerical value into the limit field.
  • System Enforcement Logic: IF the quantity limit is set to a specific value (e.g., 3), THEN the system blocks the customer from adding more than that exact number of the same product to their bundle.
