# How to Make a Quantity Breaks Bundle Live
This article details the steps, logic, and prerequisites required to make a Quantity Breaks bundle live on your Shopify storefront using Easy Bundle Builder.


## 1. Overview
A **Quantity Breaks Bundle** is a "Buy More, Save More" promotional offer displayed on product pages. It incentivizes customers to purchase larger quantities of selected products in exchange for tiered discounts. Publishing a Quantity Breaks bundle renders the offer active and purchasing-enabled for storefront visitors on the designated product pages.

## 2. Prerequisites & Setup Conditions
Before an offer can successfully display and function on your storefront, the following conditions must be met:


* **Product Assignment:** The Quantity Breaks bundle must be assigned to at least one specific product during the offer setup. The offer will only appear on the product pages selected in the bundle configuration.
* **App Embed Activation:** The Easy Bundle Builder App Embed must be enabled in your active Shopify Theme Editor and saved.

## 3. Core Logic & Step-by-Step Instructions
Making a Quantity Breaks bundle live requires two main configuration steps: turning on the app embed and publishing the offer.


### Step 1: Enable the Easy Bundle Builder App Embed
The App Embed grants the app permission to inject the bundle widget onto your active theme.


1. Open your **Shopify Admin**.
2. Navigate to **Online Store** > **Themes** and click **Customize** on your active theme.
3. In the left-hand sidebar, click the **App embeds** tab.
4. Locate **Easy Bundle Builder** and toggle the switch to **ON**.
5. Click **Save** in the top right corner of the Shopify Theme Editor to commit the changes.

* IF you click the **View Bundle** button inside the bundle setup while the Theme App Extension is disabled,
* THEN the app displays a prompt stating that the Theme App Extension must be enabled, along with an action button.
* IF you click this button, THEN the app automatically redirects you to the exact page in the Shopify Theme Editor where you can enable and save the App Embed.

### Step 2: Publish the Offer
Publishing takes the offer out of draft status and makes it operational on your live storefront. You can publish using either of the following two methods:


#### Method A: Quick Publish ("Go Live")

1. Navigate to the top header of your Quantity Break setup screen.
2. Click the **Go Live** button.

#### Method B: Manual Publish (Publish Tab)

1. In the left navigation menu of the bundle setup, click the **Publish** tab.
2. Click the **Publish** button.
*Note: Clicking **Go Live** and clicking **Publish** perform the exact same backend function. Neither action automatically enables the App Embed; both steps must be completed independently.*


## 4. Unpublishing an Offer

To deactivate an active bundle offer and remove it from your storefront:

1. Open the bundle configuration in Easy Bundle Builder.
2. Navigate to the **Publish** tab on the left sidebar.
3. Click **Unpublish**.
4. The bundle returns to an unpublished state and is immediately hidden from customer view on the storefront.

## 5. Constraints & Edge Cases

* **App Embed Disabled:** IF the Quantity Breaks bundle is published, BUT the Easy Bundle Builder App Embed is disabled or unsaved in the Shopify Theme Editor, THEN the offer **will fail to appear** on the storefront product page.
* **Product Targeting:** IF a customer visits a product page that was not explicitly selected during the bundle setup, THEN the Quantity Breaks widget will not display on that page.
* **Publish vs. App Embed Scope:** The **Go Live** / **Publish** button controls the individual bundle's draft/live status. The **App Embed** controls global widget rendering for your theme. Both must be active simultaneously for any bundle to be visible.
