# Enabling Subscription in a Pre-curated Bundle

# How to Enable and Configure Subscriptions for Pre-Curated Bundles
This article explains how to activate, display, and configure subscription options for pre-curated bundles within the Easy Bundle Builder dashboard.

## 1. Prerequisites & Automatic Detection

Before enabling subscriptions within the Easy Bundle Builder dashboard, you must complete the initial setup in your subscription management system.
* **Selling Plan Prerequisite:** Set up and activate your subscription selling plans using a supported third-party subscription application (such as Shopify Subscriptions) and assign them to the relevant bundle products.
* **Automatic Detection:** Easy Bundle Builder automatically detects active selling plans linked to your products once you navigate to the subscription settings.

## 2. Enabling Subscriptions on a Pre-Curated Bundle

**1.Navigate to Bundle Settings:**
Log in to the **Easy Bundle Builder dashboard**, locate the target pre-curated bundle, and click **Edit**.
**2.Enable Subscriptions:**
Under the **Build** menu, scroll to **Subscriptions** and click on it. Click **Enable Subscriptions**.
**3.Select and Save Selling Plan:**
Select the detected selling plan you want to attach to this bundle from the dropdown menu, then click **Save Selection**.

## 3. Visual & Layout Configurations

Once a selling plan is linked, you can customize the frontend presentation of the subscription widget.
### Layout Options
Choose from three distinct layout styles:
* **Option 1**
* **Option 2**
* **Option 3**

### Price Display Location
Control where the price is displayed relative to the bundle interface:
* **On Cards:** Displays pricing directly on the individual product cards.
* **In Footer:** Displays the total bundle pricing inside the widget footer.

### Text & Labels
The following text fields can be customized or removed completely based on your branding:
* **Widget Label**
* **One-time Title**
* **Subscription Title**
* **Subscription Pill Text**

### Plan Tiers & Naming
* Plan tiers (e.g., *Monthly Subscription*, *Two-Month Subscription*) are dynamically pulled from the connected subscription application.
* You can manually edit and override the display names of these subscription plan tiers within the dashboard settings.

### Subscription Highlights & Icons
You can display additional promotional details or feature callouts (highlights) to explain subscription benefits to customers.
* **Display Formats:**
  * **Stacked:** Displays highlights vertically, stacked on top of each other.
  * **Inline:** Displays highlights horizontally in a single line.
* **Icon Selection:** Choose an icon to display next to each highlight:
  * **None**
  * **Checkmark**
  * **Dot**
  * *Additional icon options available in dropdown*

## 4. Discount Application Logic

Under the discount settings, you can control how subscription discounts interact with pre-existing bundle discounts:
* **Both (Default):**
  * **IF** a customer selects a subscription tier, **THEN** the system applies the bundle discount **AND** the subscription discount simultaneously.
* **One-time Only:**
  * **IF** the customer selects the one-time purchase tier, **THEN** the bundle discount is applied.
  * **IF** the customer selects a subscription tier, **THEN** the bundle discount is stripped/not applied.
* **Subscription Only:**
  * **IF** the customer selects a subscription tier, **THEN** the system applies both the bundle discount and the subscription discount.
  * **IF** the customer selects a one-time purchase tier, **THEN** the bundle discount is not applied.


## 5. Default Selection State
Under **Configurations**, you can set the default state of the widget when a customer loads the product page:
* **Default Tier Pre-selection:** Check or uncheck the subscription tier checkbox to define whether the subscription option or the one-time purchase option is selected by default when the customer views the bundle.
